Position and scope of work: The National PA Specialist works under the direction of, and reports directly to, the Chief Technical Advisor (CTA). The National PA Specialist assists the CTA in technical matters regarding protected area management and biodiversity conservation, and in liaison with the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park and relevant line departments and government agencies. The work consists of providing technical advisory support to the PMU and the PNKB NP/WHS and its staff members, at province and district/park level, either directly or in conjunction with the CTA.

The WENARUDEP has a development objective which is: “Rural Poverty alleviation in three mountainous districts of Western Nghe An province” and follows one specific objective: “Improve sustainable rural livelihoods through appropriate and diversified agricultural production and related infrastructures”. Overall Responsibilities: HAIVN seeks an Information Technology (IT) Specialist. The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and scale-up of an HIV-related distance learning project. The distance learning project will be implemented by HAIVN with technical assistance from Treatment, Research, and Expert Education (TREE). The project “Study on policy recommendations to support for development of small and medium enterprises in agricultural sector and rural areas 2006-2010” is funded by Spain and implemented by IPSARD.
