About the organization The Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance, Belgium (VVOB) is implementing an Education Programme for the period 2008-2013 in Vietnam. The Education programme aims to improve the quality of lower secondary education in 5 provinces of North (Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh province) and Central Vietnam (Nghe An, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai province) through an integrated support to the Active Teaching and Learning (ATL) change processes by means of Environmental Education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
The program consists of 3 components: strengthening of educational management, capacity building at the Teacher Training Colleges, and strengthening of social participation to education.
