CARE International in Vietnam is a Non-Government Organization representing the CARE International network in Vietnam since 1989. CARE in Vietnam’s Program Strategy is explicitly oriented around achieving impacts for particularly vulnerable and marginalised groups in Vietnam. To achieve this, we work with Vietnamese partners across sectors such as health services, rural livelihood development, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation. We recognise that women’s empowerment is a critical pathway for poverty reduction and place women and girls from marginalised population groups at the heart of our programming efforts.

The Trust Fund for Forests (TFF) is a multi-donor trust fund to address sectoral priorities to achieve the protection of the environment, improve livelihoods of people in forest dependent areas and enhance the contribution of forestry to the national economy.

TFF is seeking a group of short-term consultants including one international consultant and two national consultants to carry out the final evaluation of “Development of Management Information System for Forestry Sector (FORMIS), Phase I” project.

The duty station: Hanoi based & the fields.

SNV is now looking for a short term consultant or a group of consultants to deliver Social and Gender research for the project “Sowing the Seeds of Change: Community-based Climate change Mitigation though Sustainable Rice Production”, Climate Change Adaptation program.

SNV is currently starting a new AusAID funded project to support small-holder rice producers in the central region of Vietnam. Rice production systems need to be less vulnerable to climate change impacts, emit fewer harmful greenhouse gases and remain profitable for farmers.
