1. Background information: The project on Women´s Entrepreneurship Development and Gender Equality (WEDGE) is implemented within the framework of the ILO Decent Work Country Programme in Vietnam, contributing to job creation and poverty alleviation through gender equality promotion and local economic development. Its development objective is to contribute to the creation of greater opportunities for low-income women and their families to secure decent employment and income through women’s enterprise development. The WEDGE project in Vietnam is part of the global WEDGE programme, supported by the ILO-Irish Aid Partnership Programme in the period of 2008 – 2011. The main outcomes of the projects are as follows:

1. Institutional expert at district level (01 person): Tasks: - Collaborate and support related agencies in strengthening the institutional capacity at all levels (province, Quy Chau district and its communes). - Assist the International Chief Adviser and the National Technical Assistant at provincial level in provision of technical assistance to Quy Chau district and its communes. - Assist the Project Direction in project management (to strengthen their management skills).
