We are managing the DFAT-funded Australia Awards program which is an initiative to provide Vietnam with additional higher learning and leadership capability to be used by graduates to make contributions to priority development areas.

We are seeking applications from Vietnamese nationals for the position of Alumni Assistant to join our dedicated team.

CARE International in Vietnam is a Non-Government Organization representing the CARE International network in Vietnam since 1989. CARE in Vietnam’s Program Strategy is explicitly oriented around achieving impacts for particularly vulnerable and marginalised groups in Vietnam. To achieve this, we work with Vietnamese partners across sectors such as health services, rural livelihood development, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation. We recognise that women’s empowerment is a critical pathway for poverty reduction and place women and girls from marginalised population groups at the heart of our programming efforts.

FHI 360 is an international non-governmental organization that works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development and other ministries, provincial health services, and local non-government organizations to promote the health and well-being of the Vietnamese population, particularly vulnerable and disenfranchised groups. In Vietnam, FHI 360 is currently building the capacity of local organizations in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; drug treatment policies and practices; clinical research for the development of vaccines and drugs; non-communicable disease prevention; laboratory strengthening; and social and behavior change communication approaches to preventing the spread of zoonotic diseases.

The Sustainable Rural Development for the Poor Project in Quang Binh province (SRDP Quang Binh) is financed by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and operating in 6 districts Le Thuy, Quang Ninh, Bo Trach, Quang Trach, Tuyen Hoa and Minh Hoa of Quang Binh province, central region of Vietnam. The Project commences from 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2018. In order to start the initial activities the Project has to implement the Component 1, with sub-component 2: Improvement of market development capacity in which one of activities is to study potentially viable pro-poor value chains opportunities in 40 communes of 6 districts.
