The project supports small-holder rice producers to improve sustainable production system that increases productivity of rice cultivation while reducing requirements for water, seed, synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and labour, especially tasks performed by women, as well as reduced GHG emissions of methane and nitrous oxide.
