In collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), ILO is supporting the national industrial relations framework to be consistent with the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work in the framework of a technical co-operation project entitled Developing and Implementing a New Industrial Relations Framework in respect of the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (NIRF Project).
The USAID Linkages for Small and Medium Enterprises (“LinkSME”) Project is a five-year project in Vietnam funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by IESC, a US-based nonprofit organization. The project links Vietnamese small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with lead firms (LFs) in order to integrate SMEs into manufacturing supply chains and accelerate domestic SME growth. LinkSME will create systematic changes in business relationships between Vietnamese SMEs and LFs, as well as significant increases in the quantity and/or quality of business linkages between Vietnamese SMEs and LFs.
In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Department of Child Affairs as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the new project on “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (2015-2019) with the financial support from United States Department of Labour (USDOL).
MOLISA will take the lead in overseeing the development of a Vietnamese child labour free certification scheme in collaboration with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) and the ILO ENHANCE project.
USAID SHIFT is a five-year contract managed by FHI 360 originally awarded to help local stakeholders achieve and sustain epidemic control. The purpose of USAID SHIFT is to strengthen human, organizational, and systems capacity to lead the national HIV and TB response and deliver innovative enhancements in HIV and TB services. Responding to the growing demand for high-quality training in Big Data, Data Science, Data Analysis from academia (college students, lecturers, and researchers in the field of economics, finance, and business administration) as well as private sectors (capacity building of businesses), the Center for Advanced Studies in Economics and Data Science (CASEDS), directed by Professor Le Van Cuong (from the French National Center for Scientific Research), was officially established from the Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN).
