About ENV Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on conservation of nature and the environment. Basing on the proposal of Vietnam Government, the World Bank agreed to grant a loan of 50 million USD for Vietnam to implement the Vietnam Industrial Pollution Management Project in Dong Nai and Nhue – Day river basins (hereafter called VIPMP).
The VIPMP includes 3 main components namely: Component 1 - Institutional Strengthening and Enforcement, Component 2 - Pilot Financing for Wastewater Treatment and Component 3 - Technical Assistance for Industrial Zones and Project Implementation Support.
