The Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) is a local research institution based in Hanoi and has been in operation since 1996,. The Center has since become a think tank that conducts policy-oriented research on health and poverty alleviation and provides an independent voice for advocating participatory community development in Vietnam.
RTCCD is looking to recruit 2 researchers in the field of psychology. Position details and skill requirements are described below.
Type of work: Full time for 1 year (with possibility of extension) Location: This position will be based in Hanoi and with travel to regional project sites as required.
1. Project Overview: The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has been implementing a GEF/UNDP-funded project entitled “Environmental Remediation of Dioxin Contaminated Hotspots in Viet Nam” since May 2010. MONRE implements this project in close collaboration with the Ministry of Defense (MOD) and people’s committees of three provinces: Dong Nai, Da Nang, Binh Dinh. The project aims “to minimize disruption of ecosystems and health risks for people from environmental releases of TCDD contaminated hotspots”. This will contribute to the broader Goal, which is “to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used in the war in Viet Nam”.
HELVETAS Vietnam is recruiting an Interpreter cum assistant, based in Hanoi for the PUBLIC SERVICE PROVISION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM IN AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT - PSARD phase II - funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Vietnam (SDC/Hanoi). The objective of the program is poverty reduction and improved livelihood. The program will contribute to province and district-wide mainstreaming of participatory local planning, financial decentralization and improved public service delivery in agriculture (i.e. farmer field schools). The program focuses its activities in disadvantaged areas of Hoa Binh and Cao Bang provinces.

Responsibilities: Support Provincial Project Management Units (PPMUs) in Hoa Binh and Cao Bang
HELVETAS Vietnam is looking for an Administrator cum Cashier based in Hoa Binh province for program “PUBLIC SERVICE PROVISION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM IN AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT - PSARD” - funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Vietnam (SDC/Hanoi). The objective of the program is poverty reduction and improved livelihood. The program will contribute to province and district-wide mainstreaming of participatory local planning, financial decentralization and improved public service delivery in agriculture (i.e. farmer field schools).
Responsibilities: - Manage all cash payment of PPMU, and support to accounting/financial tasks when necessary - Support accountant in maintaining inventory of project assets

Responsibilities: - Prepare and manage the budget for all the project activities, the procurement of equipment and the running costs of the Provincial Project Management Unit (PPMU) in Hoa Binh
