Vacancies at the Office for Business Sustainable Development

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (VCCI) is an independent, nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that represents the Vietnamese business community, employers, and business associations of all economic sectors. VCCI has over 1,000 staff working in the headquarter office in Hanoi and six branches and two representative offices in eight provinces throughout the country. SDforB is based at VCCI headquarters and provides support to the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs in achieving sustainable development and productive integration in the 21st century, particularly through the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) and Global Compact Network Viet Nam (GCNV).

Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) leads a consortium with Winrock International (Winrock) and Center for Environment Research, Education and Development (CERED) and its Asia-Pacific office (CERED AP) in an extended partnership with Carbon Trust is making a proposal for establishment and operation of the Viet Nam Climate Innovation Center (VCIC) launched by infoDev (www.infodev.org), a Global Partnership Program of The World Bank, with support from the Australian Government’s Overseas Aid Program AusAID and the United Kingdom’s UKAid. The project has  an initial grant of up to USD 5.0 million for the duration of 5 year.

The Office for Business Sustainable Development (SDforB) under Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is recruiting applicants for the position of (1) Chief Executive Officer, (2) Finance, Procurement, and Administration Manager, (3) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Manager, and (4) Communication and Knowledge Officer to be based in Hanoi or HCM, for an anticipated World Bank funded Vietnam Climate Innovation Center (VCIC).  These positions are contingent upon award and donor funding.
