Shipping and Customs Supervisor

The U.S. Embassy Hanoi is seeking to recruit the following position:

HANOI-2022-38  Shipping and Customs Supervisor position

Requirement:

Experience:  Minimum of five years’ experience in  the field of international customs, shipping, logistics, or transportation, which includes one year of supervisory experience is required.

Education:  Completion of two years college studies is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have:

Detailed knowledge of local government import/export and customs laws, policies and procedures, including tax policies.

Detailed knowledge of local motor vehicle policies with respect to registration, transfer, licensing, and taxes.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess excellent supervisory and management skills and the ability to deal with people effectively and diplomatically, teamwork, leadership skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office application suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. (This will be tested)
