TNS Public & Social in Hanoi specializes in conducting research for development i.e. the Stakeholder Management, Public Opinion Poll, Baseline Surveys, Needs Assessments, Impact Assessments, Concept Tests, Evaluation of Behaviour Change Campaigns and Program Evaluations. We have sound regional experience in sectors such as HIV/AIDS, Children, Disability, Education, Health and other urban and rural development issues. Our clients are international institutions (UN, World Bank, NGOs…), Vietnamese Ministries (MARD-MPI) and Government Agencies. 

We are looking for a qualified and suitable Vietnamese candidate to fill the following vacancy for our office in Hanoi:
RESEARCH MANAGER / ASSOCIATE RESEARCH MANAGER – P&S TEAM

Purpose of the role:
Responsible for taking research briefs, developing proposals, commissioning projects, managing all facets of projects, presenting results to clients & maintaining client contacts and nurturing client relations, as well as being fully responsible for all projects conducted by predetermined clients.
Technical skills:
- Understanding of research process & methodologies: Social Research / Usage &Attitude / Focus Group Discussion / In depth - - Interviews / Customer Satisfaction / Knowledge Attitude Behavior and Practice etc & know when  to apply them)
- Ability to write technical proposals with sound research design
- Independent analysis & reporting capabilities
- Good command in the usage of quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS / STATA
- Understand & can take into account key marketing issues, address them & recommend action standards
Interpersonal Skills:
- Able to carry-out project from commissioning to presentation independently
- Selfless / without bias / proactive / flexible
- Multi-team supervision / team leadership skills
- Influential and well-organised
- Fluency in English - speaking and writing
Working Experience:
- Ideally, 4 - 5 years of social and development research experience
