Vacancy: Regional Manager of the North – Alive and Thrive Project

Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for a Regional Manager of the North position of Alive & Thrive (A&T) Project. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project locations.

Main Responsibilities

A Regional Manager will be responsible to mange and ensure the effective implementation and high impact of the franchise models of Alive and Thrive project in North region. The key areas of accountability include: project management, budget planning and monitoring, staff management, building and maintaining the effective link and networks with project partners and other relevant professional group.

Key Competencies

• Bachelor degree or higher in Nutrition, Public health, Medical, Nursing. Medical Doctor is preferable
• At least three years working experience in managing public health programs, preferable in nutrition, maternal and child health care
• Experience in working with government counterparts, and multilateral agencies
• Experience in preparing and managing budgets
• Solid understanding of the Vietnamese government system
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Skilful and experience in program planning, monitoring, and facilitating meeting, workshops
• Good writing project reports and documenting other project outputs
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Good communication skills and team work
• Good computer skills - MS Office
