Regional Coordinator-Sustainable Natural Rubber

Based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Want to make a positive difference to the future of people and our one shared home, the Earth? Working at WWF could be your opportunity of a lifetime.

All around the world, people are waking up to the deepening crisis of natural loss. A growing realization that nature is our life-support system. And that nobody will be spared from the impacts of its loss. Here at WWF, we are helping to tackle this enormous global challenge.

What we do

We are an independent conservation organization, striving to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife. From individuals and communities to business and government, we are part of a growing coalition calling on world leaders to set nature on the path to recovery by 2030. Together, we seek to protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainable.

WWF-Cambodia works to conserve the region’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife. WWF-Cambodia works on the ground and in partnership with Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and collaborative individual for the unique role of Regional Coordinator-Sustainable Natural Rubber to join our team. The Regional Coordinator provides coordination support, and serves as a knowledge manager among the Country Project Teams in Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand on the activities linked to the Towards a Responsible Rubber Industry in South East Asia (ICARE) project funded by French Development Agency (AFD). In this way, the Regional Coordinator facilitates discussion spaces where the three countries can share best practices from the project’s activities and determines how they can be presented and discussed in other situations/ formats for outreach and strategic partnership purposes.

The Regional Coordinator plays a key role in advancing effective partnerships that allow for the strategic implementation, coordinating with other WWF initiatives and other actors on SNR, as well as forest restoration activities in the three countries. Finally, the Regional Coordinator is responsible for coordinating/leading regular discussions between Country Project Teams, as well as WWF-France in order to advise and support on the adequate follow up of the Project Charter and Governance Structure and donor compliances
