REACH English Facilitator

Job title: REACH English Facilitator
Location: Hanoi

Description of REACH:
REACH provides vocational training services for Vietnam’s most disadvantaged youth. REACH matches our training to the needs of the employers and the jobs that exist in the locations where they work. Since 2004 over 6,600 young people from vulnerable backgrounds have graduated from this vocational training program and are now successfully employed.
REACH offers 3-month intensive vocational training in:
- Hospitality
 Customer relations, Sales & Marketing (CRSM)
- Information technology (Web + Graphic Design)
- Nail Art
- Housekeeping

Job purpose:
To provide the English training so that REACH students have a basic level of English to make them competitive on the job market.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible to teach English conversation/communication skills to REACH students according the curriculum / deliver spoken English training to REACH student
- Work with REACH foreign volunteers in delivering English lessons to students
- Responsible to maintain a standardized English curriculum and prepare detailed lesson plans and weekly training schedule
- Support all Technical Facilitators in the employment of students
- Support the Youth Affairs Officer with all Mobilization activities (recruiting new students, Selection Day, Home Visits)
- Support Technical Facilitators in training REACH students on Life Skills and Work Readiness skills

Job requirements:
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
- At least 1 year experience in teaching English
- Experience in training sector, preferably in vocational training
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are required)
- Strong team spirit
- Able to work effectively with students from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible
