Project Officer

The Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) is a science and technology organization with the mission of providing research, training and consulting services as a leading management science institution in Vietnam. At present, AMDI is implementing training, consulting and researching projects in the fields of organization management, tourism, trade, agriculture, disaster risk reduction and climate change. We are looking for high-qualified candidates for the following vacancy:

Project Officer

Job description:
- Search for information of training needs, training requirements, consulting, and research (from donors, departments of project management, enterprises, companies and other resources)
- Write proposals and prepare for dossier applications
- Coordinate the implementation of project activities, including:

• Work with key experts and Programme Management Unit on all operational matters of programme implementation;
• Work closely with key experts and other team members to select other non-key experts and assistants for the project implementation;
• Coordinate the implementation of activities and overall progress according to the approved work-plan;
• Advise the project manager on solutions for all the operational and financial issues during the implementation of project.
• Prepare progress and final reports for the PMU;
• Organise meetings, workshops, seminars and all project events.

Requirements:

• University degree or higher education
• Excellent English skills (especially in writing and translation)
• 3-5 years of working experience in related fields
• Being sociable, good ability to work cooperately in groups, and to coordinate activities with high discipline.
