Vacancy: Project Officer – Health Project
Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a qualified Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer. The successful candidate will base in Hanoi, with regular travel to field locations - at least 20% of time and probable short term deployment to the field for emergency tasks. Competitive remuneration package and opportunity for learning and development will be offered for this position.

Main Responsibilities: responsible for supporting Project Coordinator in management of the project’s   component which is being implemented by MoH to ensure the effective implementation and high impact of the HHCC project.

Key Competencies 

Essential

  • Medical Doctor’s degree in Public Health.
  • Good working knowledge in English in both speaking and writing skills.
  • Experience in financial procedures and accounting.
  • Knowledge of progressive health and medical approaches for public health
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in project management in related field.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment. Work independently, focused on maintaining high quality work.
  • Experience in successful implementation of a wide range of tasks within a project environment to tight timeframes and under pressure.
  • Effectiveness in working or volunteering in a non-profit organization of NGOs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

  • Ideally, experience in Health project management with NGOs.
  • Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Be both self-confident and humble.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment.
