Project Managers; Project Coordinators

The Mekong Institute (MI) is an inter-governmental organization serving the countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) namely, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Yunnan Province and Guangxi Autonomous Region of China. MI holds the distinction of being the only GMS-based development learning institute, offering standard and on-demand human resource development programs with focus on regional cooperation and transnational development issues.

We are looking for qualified GMS nationals to work with the following projects to be launched within the next six months: (1) Capacity Development for Integrating CLMV Economies into AEC, (2) Improved Agriculture Productivity Through Good Agriculture Practices and Effective SME Value Chains, (3) Enhancing Competitiveness of SME Clusters along Southern Economic Corridors, and (4) Supporting a More Equitable and Inclusive Growth in the GMS.

Positions available:

   * Project Managers: 4 positions
   * Field Project Coordinators: 6 positions

These positions will be based at the MI Headquarters in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Regular travel will be undertaken to the GMS countries and will involve work on the various GMS Economic Corridors. MI offers attractive compensation packages that are internationally competitive, including a 14% provident fund and tax exemption for non-Thai personnel.
