The Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) is a Non – Governmental Organization (NGO), established in 2000. CISDOMA has implemented number of development projects, especially connected to grass-root level, conducted various research and surveys on different aspects such as sustainable agriculture, climate change and adaptive livelihoods, value chain analysis, and capacity building for ethnic minority communities. The institute has also been actively engaged in different policy forums relating to land and forest governance, rural development issues.
Helvetas has been working in Vietnam since 1994, with an initial focus in agriculture, forestry and biodiversity as well as rural development like water and sanitation and local participatory development planning. Today, Helvetas Vietnam focuses mainly on Sustainable Inclusive Economies with a focus on pro-poor and gender-responsive value chain and market systems development in agricultural commodities and natural ingredients. The organisation has built strong experience and expertise in promoting gender and social equity, enhancing the empowerment of ethnic minorities and developing partnerships with diverse actors – government, private sector and civil society.
FHI 360 is an international non-governmental organization that, in Vietnam, promotes the health and well-being of the Vietnamese people, particularly vulnerable and marginalized populations. It works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health and other national bodies, as well as provincial and district-level health services to achieve project aims.
