Project Development Manager

The Project Development Manager of the Energy Development Center will be part of an extraordinary team who identify and qualify opportunities while working in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. You will lead the project team to meet yearly objectives and represent the Center in all local and international events.

SCOPE
Reporting to the Board of directors, the Project Development Manager maintains an effective relationship with the partners and influences the overall success of the Center within the Vietnam National Energy Efficiency and Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and developing solutions using effective communication channels. By doing so, you stay put with the trends and the status of sustainable and energy projects. 

The Project Development Manager will:
- Identify, validate and conduct new partnerships and opportunities in Vietnam.
- Perform extensive prospecting in Vietnam.
- Provide client coverage & coordinate face-to-face & program coverage
- Work with partners to develop solutions
- Where appropriate, train the staff.
- Maintain a positive, keen attitude & a strong drive.
- Be accountable for the yearly results of the Center

Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working on proposals
- Experience with high level executives
- Experience in Financial value proposition, project case and financial modeling skills

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years of experience in the Energy Sector or in organization/business consulting
- English: TOEIC > 900(/995)
- Excellent spoken & written English and Vietnamese with polished presentation skills
- Good command of most common office tools.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

With energy demand growing faster than energy production capacity, the Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Program now focuses on how to control the existing use of energy while still promoting the use of renewable energy. The Energy Center Development has been founded to respond to the many needs in rural electrification and energy efficiency issues in Vietnam.
