Project Assistant

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) was established on 1 January 2011. It brings together under one roof the long-standing expertise of the German Development Service (DED), the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and InWEnt – Capacity Building International, Germany. - The volunteer programme weltwärts was established and funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and runs in different developing countries like Vietnam. GIZ is one of several organizations with a license for such an activity and accompanies volunteers and partner organizations during the implementation process, i.e. whilst young Germans assist in Vietnamese organizations and whilst they gain intercultural skills via “learning by serving”.
