Hagar International in Vietnam, an international NGO based in Hanoi, invites applications from interested and experienced Vietnamese candidates for the following position.

Required Or Preferred

Education

 

Bachelor’s degree in community development, social work or related fields.

Strongly preferred

Knowledge and skills
  • Basic understanding of and commitment to development work, child-focused, community-based development concepts, approaches and processes.
  • Good skills in communicating in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Knowledge about gender based violence, modern slavery and/or human trafficking (preferable)
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Good interpersonal skills

 

Required

 

Experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in INGO-funded projects is desirable.
  • Working experience in community development, including program/project implementation, community mobilization and participatory approach would be an advantage
