This is an outstanding opportunity where you can manage and ensure the delivery of objectives for the GRAISEA programme*. GRAISEA is a programme that intends to achieve improved livelihoods for women and men who are small-scale producers in the Southeast Asia region, through more responsible and inclusive value chains and private sector investments and where women demonstrate economic leadership.

In this challenging and exciting role you will manage the programme, ensure the delivery of objectives, meet donor requirements and guarantee programme learning is effective. In addition, you will engage with external institutions for learning and influence, and provide appropriate management advice to programme staff based on an understanding of agreed management strategies. As a member of the Asia Leadership Team, the post holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to Oxfam’s work beyond the management of GRAISEA.

Summary of essential skills and experience

You will have significant experience in developing and delivering high quality programmes that work with and through partners. Your strategic and analytical skills will ensure you can make certain this flagship programme continues to thrive. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence diplomatically will help you to succeed making a difference in the context of multiple stakeholders. Comfort with managing budgets and people is essential alongside a sound track record in fundraising.
