VVAF first returned to Vietnam in 1981 when the first of many delegations arrived to engage discussions with the government of Vietnam on issues of common concern, and to begin the long slow road to healing and reconciliation. Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV) is seeking a Vietnam National to fill the position as Program Manager in Tay Ho, Ha Noi.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role of the Program Manager is to oversee the daily and long-term management of the Girls Foster Home (GFH) in accordance to the organizational guidelines. The Manager will be responsible for managing the house finances within a set budget and reporting. The Manager will also be responsible for assisting the In-Country Director with the the general program management duties at HSCV. This includes the supervision and training of GFH staff (4), liaising with governmental authorities, and partner organizations, as well as receiving visitors and reporting to donors.
