BACKGROUND

The USAID Governance for Inclusive Growth (GIG) Program (the Program) aims to assist efforts by the Government of Vietnam (GVN) to achieve sustainable and equitable economic growth by working with the Government of Vietnam, its private sector, and civil society organizations to maintain the momentum in expanding market reforms, institutional modernization, and global integration in trade. The Program strives to ensure that growth reaches all segments of Vietnam’s population by implementing targeted initiatives to address the unique challenges faced by historically disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, as well as to empower women.

Position Title: Program Manager, Law and Regulatory Reform
Position Description: Long-term position responsible for supporting activities in the area of legal and regulatory reforms
Reports to: Trade, Law and Regulatory Reform Team Leader, or as otherwise assigned

Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on conservation of nature and the environment. Our mission is to foster greater understanding amongst the Vietnamese public about environmental issues of local, national and global significance, ranging from protection of wildlife and natural ecosystems to climate change. We employ creative and innovative strategies to influence attitudes and behavior, not only highlighting the need to protect Vietnam’s rich natural heritage and the living world around us, but also encouraging greater public participation in achieving this important and challenging tasks.
