Education
  • Master’s Degree in Social Science, Sociology, or other relevant degree

Required

Knowledge/Skills
  • Demonstrated analytical & critical thinking skills
  • Ability to coordinate and network effectively
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team setting and show initiative in developing innovative approach
  • Strong management, organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to effectively manage teams. Excellent employee development and management skills. Knowing when to coach, when to advise and when to provide specific direction
  • Excellent diplomatic skills and proven ability to work effectively with government officials, partners, donors and stakeholders at high level
  • In-depth knowledge on social work, gender equity, violence against women and girls, human trafficking, sexual abuse, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and other relevant software
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Understanding of Hagar’s mission and values

Experience
  • Minimum 5-year experience in project management and coordination and monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Experience in fundraising activities
  • Experience in interpersonal interaction and at least 3 years in team management.
