About Vietnam Executive MBA (VEMBA) & Master of HRM Progams
Since 2001, we have been offering the only AACSB-accredited Executive MBA in Vietnam. This 21-month, executive format program allows participants living in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to maintain full-time management positions while earning their degree. Students will learn from an integrated, modern curriculum that incorporates core business disciplines with cutting-edge business practices including: innovation and entrepreneurship, management of information technologies and e-business, supply chain management, wealth management, and branding. Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, Marketing and Recruitment, the Program Assistant manages the daily operations of the Executive MBA & Master of HRM Programs primarily in the areas of event preparation, support services management, student services and admissions.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Triage current student needs and coordinate appropriate resources
- Coordinate logistics and preparation for Kick-Off Week, Graduation and other events
- Support admissions information sessions, interviews and other admissions-related events as needed
- Research and create student data, admissions, and marketing reports as needed
- Create, manage, and maintain the methodology and execution of email list serves with students
- Manage all office operations including ordering supplies, paying bills, handling maintenance requests, creating contracts for events, and ensuring daily office coverage
- Handle exam preparation, seating charts
- Coordinate special projects or tasks assigned
- Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for the program
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience
- A minimum two years in an administrative, customer service, or other position with similar responsibilities required.
Competencies
- English skill: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
- Excellent Interpersonal, Oral, And Written Communication Skills Required
- Other skills and qualities:
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information with absolute discretion required
- Ability to maintain calm and courteous demeanor and to work productively despite heavy workload, competing priorities, complex problems, and/or tight deadlines required
- Considerable skill in working both independently and as a team member required
- Proficiency with MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and databases required
- Ability and willingness to work some evenings, some Saturdays and Sundays required
Typical weekly schedule:
Class Week
M-F* 1:00pm-8:30pm *(one of these days is an off day)
Sun & Sat 8:30am-5:00pm
Non-class Week
M-F 8:00am-5:00pm
