Program Assistant

SNV Vietnam is looking for a Program Assistant, based in Hanoi, Vietnam with travel to other provinces.

SNV’s Inclusive Business Program supports and promotes business initiatives that integrate the low-income population into the supply chain of companies as suppliers, employees, distributors and/or consumers that generate win-win solutions for both, economic benefits for the company and job and income increase for the low-income population.

We are seeking for highly qualified candidates to provide daily financial, administrative and secretarial support to the Vietnam Business Challenge Fund and Inclusive Business Accelerator team.

Responsibilities

  • Support in management of all the files, contracts, and information
  • Provide support to the Program Administrator and Internal Auditor with accounting work
  • Support in recording financial transactions of the specific program/projects
  • Follow up on the related receipts and payments of the program
  • Forecasts and project depletion for the assigned program/projects
  • Support the Program Administrator and Internal Auditor to prepare and check monthly, quarterly and annual program financial accounts
  • Assisting all members in daily administration tasks
  • Provide support in program/project monitoring & evaluation
  • Assist the team in preparation of program documentation, paper works
  • Keep the program team agenda’s up to date, arrange meetings and appointments
  • Make travel arrangement for members, attend visitors of the program
  • Provide interpretation/translation support to advisors in case of need

Candidate profile

  • Vietnamese citizen
  • University degree in relevant administrative, auditing, financial areas
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Accounting, Auditing and Financial areas
  • Understanding and experience in project monitoring and evaluation is preferable
  • Initiative and creative in solving problems
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good accounting and administrative skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese)
  • Good computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Willing to travel to other provinces

Contract duration: a one-year contract with the possibility of extension and competitive salary package.

Desired start date: ASAP
