We are currently seeking for a talent and enthusiastic member to work full time with our dynamic team in Hanoi:

Job Title: PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Report to: Procurement Manager

Job purposes: This position is responsible for providing support in procurement of goods and services for PSI programs and operations. He/she will ensure that all procurements are in line with PSI policies and donor requirements.

Major duties:
• Oversee transparent procurement of goods and services in line with technical specifications and approved designs;
• Ensure procurement procedures fully comply with policies and procedures, based on best practices (e.g. Purchase Request, soliciting multiple quotations, canvass, PO/contracts)
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure mock-ups are delivered in a timely fashion
• Work closely with the Warehouse Officer in managing the system of samples and provide updates of any changes in the delivery schedule of goods/ products
• Manage and update the vendor database on a monthly basis
• Update Production Management Database
• Follow up production contracts to ensure timely delivery by selected suppliers.

Selection criteria
• University degree (preferably in business administration or related field)
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in procurement field
• Extensive knowledge/network of suppliers (local & international)
• Strong experience in negotiation with suppliers for pricing, quality & delivery terms
• Understanding of non-profit, donor-funded operating contexts an advantage
