Part-time Business Development/Communications Intern

Position: Part-time Business Development/Communications Intern, initially for months (October-December 2012)
Location: SNV’s country office in Hanoi
Context: SNV is a leading provider of capacity development services globally, operating in 35 countries around the world to reduce poverty through supporting national and local actors within government, civil society and the private sector to find and implement local solutions to development challenges.

Key duties and responsibilities: The Intern will assist Vietnam and Regional Business Development Unit with:

- Asia/Vietnam webpages: uploading news, publications, photos
- Basic graphic design of leaflets and publications as required by programmes
- Editing documents in Vietnamese and English
- Photo library development and maintenance
- Translation/interpretation
- PR materials distribution

Requirements:

Skills and qualifications

- Excellent English and Vietnamese language comprehension and communications skills
- Basic graphic design skills
- Good MS Office computer application skills
- Photographic skills preferred

The intern should possess the following competencies:

- Eager to learn and share knowledge
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Pro-active and confident to ask questions, for advice and clarifications
