Office Finance Associate

PATH has been working in Vietnam since the early 1980s, with a permanent office established in Hanoi in 1997.

PATH is currently seeking an Office Finance Associate to provide financial support to our office in Hanoi. Under the guidance and direction of the Office Finance Officer, the Office Finance Associate’s responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and reconcile office petty cash and replenish as needed.
- Photocopy backup documentations for the monthly Field Office Financial report (FOFR) before sending to Headquarters.
- Coordinate with the bank on banking issues such as unidentified banking transactions, bank statement follow-up.
- Going to the bank for cash withdrawal, bank transfers and other bank related transactions.
- Receive cash refund, prepares bank deposit and deposit general journal in the computerized system.
- Complete documentation of financial transactions prior to inputting into the accounting system.
- Input financial and accounting data into the computerized accounting system and create vouchers.
- Manage filing of financial documents.
- Prepare payments for rental, facilities, and other expenses and track record of these expenses.
- Ensure that all office accounts (e.g. telephone, internet, IT and equipment maintenance and vendors) are paid in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Serve as back up support to the Finance Officer.
- Assist the Finance Officer with the monthly FOFR preparation as requested

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities required
- University graduate with a minimum of two years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, skills in Quickbook preferred
- Well-organized and attention to details skills
- Good communication skills
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent Vietnamese and good English skills
- Experience working with INGOs a plus

Starting gross monthly salary range in the range USD 532 – USD 664 (depending on experience) plus competitive benefits (paid in VND). Salary and benefits will be paid in VND.
