VACANCY: National Market Development Expert- Tropical Fruits

Job summary:

As National Market Development Expert – tropical fruits, you will identify the suitable existing digital platforms and the potential buyers/processors and linking the fruit producers, cooperatives and companies to them; support to increase knowledge and skills on e-commerce of producers; and facilitate the digital farm-enterprise, enterprise to enterprise contracts and long-term farm to enterprise business relationships. You will work directly under the supervision of Project Manager and cooperate with other experts.  

Requirements:

You should have advanced university degree, preferably in marketing, trading, e-commerce, economic, agriculture or related field; very good understanding of value-added fruits markets in Vietnam and globally; very good understating and knowledge of high value markets such as tourism, hotels, restaurants, Fairtrade and Organic markets;  experience and expertise in supporting direct market access development for disadvantaged groups; excellent business negotiations and facilitating skills; very good understanding and experience with marketing and branding of fruits; and excellent planning, coordination and management skills.

You are confident to coordinate implementation of project activities between public and private institutions, beneficiaries and project senior experts. You have excellent communication skills, both in Vietnamese and English and you are able to relate to people with diverse background such as high-ranking officials, technical experts and industry actors.
