VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor
Lux-Development, the Executing Agency for Bilateral Co-operation financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is assisting the Cao Bang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement the project VIE036 “ Irrigation Cao Bang, Wise Use of Water and Agriculture” (WUWA).
The project VIE/036 WUWA has three result areas:
- Agricultural Productivity – Optimized, diversified and more resilient agricultural production systems;
- Access to Water – Increased water availability for agricultural production systems;
- Improved Process – Producers and service providers are actively invested in the planning and management of agricultural production systems
Lux-Development is looking for candidate to fill the following positions, (one year assignment, renewable): Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor (MEA)
The key purposes of the MEA position are:
- Implementation of the LuxDev monitoring framework in line with LuxDev requirements and guidelines;
- To facilitate VIE/036 advisors in the regular evaluation of implemented activities as a strategy for learning by counterparts as to improve on their service provision to clients in Cao Bang;
- To support counterparts in developing and/or strengthening data collection and analysis as to facilitate sound reports for counterpart management at various levels;
Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in M&E position for development projects
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports
