Micro Finance Capacity Building and Training Manager

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the position: Micro Finance Capacity Building and Training Manager (1 position) based in Hanoi.
The mission of WVV’s Micro Finance Program is to foster improvement in the quality of life among the clients in Vietnam by assisting the economically active poor and graduating the moderate and poorest of the poor into entrepreneurial skills. This will be accomplished through a sustainable Micro Finance program that provides access to loans, insurance and savings within Area Development Programs. All aspects of the services that MF program delivers are built to lead the development of appropriate models, capacities and systems for Micro enterprise development in Vietnam, resulting in sustainable economic development as part of WVI transformational development ministry throughout ADP communities. 
MF Program is structured in two management levels: central office in Hanoi and branch office at provincial and/ or regional level. All direct transactions with clients including clients screening, loan processing and loan collection are carried out at communities’ level through a network of local staff.

Micro finance program has employed around 45 staff who are Vietnamese national.

Main Responsibilities:
To provide effective and significant contributions to enhance capacity of Micro Finance (MF) Program staff, concerned communities and stakeholders, which ensure MF Program’s short-term objectives and long term strategic goals are gradually achieved.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required:

The following knowledge, skills and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on the job training:
- A Bachelor Degree in economics, accounting, business administration or any other social science field;
- Understanding on MF and Business Development Services (BDS);
- Strong Coordination, Facilitation, Presentation, Influencing & Training Skills;
- Be a strategic thinker/problem-solver with effective communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- Willingness to travel to provinces frequently and ability to work under pressure;
- Al least 5 years experience in MF or MED;
- Experience in working with Capacity Building and Training Organizations;
- Experience with Information Technologies and creating information system for business/competitive intelligence;
- Experience with both primary and secondary research;
- Strict requirement on integrity and accountability;
- 30% time of field visits is expected;
