Marketing Manager

Marie Stopes International in Vietnam (MSIVN) is a marketing focused, results oriented social enterprise which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide quality family planning and reproductive healthcare to the people of Vietnam. MSIVN is part of The MSI Global partnership which develops efficient, effective and sustainable family planning programmes in over 38 countries worldwide.

We are looking for a Dynamic Vietnamese Candidate for following position as details:

Title : Marketing Manager
Location : Hanoi or HCMC

BASIC FUNCTION :

The MM will be responsible for the business results of company’s products. This responsibility will exist throughout the product life cycle from idea through development, launch, operation and end of product life. In addition, MM will be in charge of establishing objectives and programs related to Marketing and Sales such as: Advertising, Promotion, Training, Market research, events and recommend  new products and business opportunities to the CEO. Working closely with distributors to organize sales and promotion campaigns.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS :

a.Reports to : Chief Executive Officer
b.Coordinates with Sales Managers and Sales force, Chief accountant, Quality Technical Assurance team, Logistic staff, Training officer
c.External : O&G hospitals, clinics, KOLs, pharmacies, distributors, material suppliers

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Product results, including: usage, costs, revenues and contribution. Creation of plans and  strategies to achieve the product objectives. Participation on the necessary management teams to helps form price and launch successful products. Act as the internal and external champion of his/her product, target market and product competitors. Proactive communication with senior management on the product, its performance and any major issues or changes in the market or competition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Marketing plan : develop promotion plans for products/product line including:

a.Strategy and tactics, with promotion cycles, goals and objectives.
- Market research/market analysis.
- Competition activities/products.
- Pricing recommendations.
- Advertising materials.
- Sampling.   

b.Coordinate implementation of promotion plans with Sales managers.

2.Strategic plans: test marketing assumptions, assemble market data, provide sales forecasts, coordinate with logistic staff to ensure adequate product supply in the market. Follow to ensure the registration process goes hand in hand with product launch plan and make it happen timely.

3.Periodic reports: verification of marketing data; timely transmission and preparation of statements; analysis of market changes; timely preparation of monthly activity report.

4.Field visit to ensure that marketing plan is implemented properly and promoted message is communicated. Jointly with Sales Manager organize and participate in Sales Conference; organize, plan, supervise participate in Medical congresses, symposiums, seminars, workshop.

5.Budget control – on going analysis and follow up of marketing budget.

6.New launching – responsible for new product  introductions interacting with all related areas.

7.Regular review of sales results to determine problem areas and recommended needed corrected actions (monthly/ quarterly/ actual versus plan result analysis)

8.Training: responsible for coordination of all training program for sales and marketing personnel on new and existing products according to previously established marketing plan.

9.Cooperate with SM/KAM to list Company products in key hospitals.

10.Cooperate with distributors to create good promotional activities and expand products availability

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
- University graduate in Business Administration in Marketing/ University graduate in Medical/Pharmaceutical Universities
- Excellent command of the English and Vietnames language.

Experience:
- Minimum : prior experience in the Marketing Division of a large Pharmaceutical company for 3-5 years.
- Preferred: Product Manager in an International Pharmaceutical company for 4 years
- Specific position knowledge, skills, abilities required:
- PC skill: MS Office and its application: Windows, Word, Excel; supervision, organization, creativity, flexibility, self discipline, excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, result oriented, success driven, solid leadership profile.
