Vietnam with support from international partners is currently implementing an integrated national programme on Avian and Hunam Influenza (AHI) in 2006-2010 with a total estimated cost of $250 million. To support overall coordination, a Partnership on Avian and Human Pandemic Influenza (PAHI) has been established between the Government of Vietnam, Donors, Non-Governmental Agencies andother stakeholders. A Secretariat Office has been established within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), under joint supervision of MARD and the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support the activities of the Partnership, which focus on information sharing, policy dialogue, and joint monitoring of resources and activities.

Job purpose:  to coordinate communications/PR activities and facilitate the communications network to strengthen the communications capacity within Plan Vietnam

Main responsibilities:
- Internal communication
- Support to develop a national communication strategy
- Document and disseminate lessons learned and best practices
- Maintain and update communications resources
- Administer Plan Vietnam Web pages
- Communication materials production
- Designing and produce promotional communication materials

The Australian Aid Program is seeking an Executive Manager – Human Development Programs. The position will be based in the Australian Embassy, Hanoi.
The Executive Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of Australian Aid Program scholarships in Vietnam. She/he will also have responsibility for oversight of health and HIV programs.. She/he will manage four staff and report to the Counsellor- Development Cooperation. This is a full-time position.

Essential:
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English;
- Familiarity with the Australian higher education sector;
