ICT Officer

Football for All in Vietnam” (FFAV) Project was initiated by the Football Association of Norway (NFF) in 2001. FFAV works with a goal to contribute to building a sustainable sport structure in Vietnam by establishing a network of non-competitive grassroots football clubs with an emphasis on life skills integration into club activities. At the moment we have 110 football clubs with more than 11,000 girls and boys enjoying non-competitive football with integrated life skills activities every week.

We are now looking for potential candidate for the position of ICT Officer. Please read the following details:


Position: ICT Officer  (Information and Communication Technology)
Reporting to: Head of Communication Department
Location: Hue

- To support Communication Department in website management
- To administer social media tools
- To design FFAV graphic based on FFAV platforms
- To manage, maintain and develop all ICT equipment
- To be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,  NAS and Shared Point)
(- Network-attached storage (NAS) is file-level computer data storage providing data access.
 - Shared point is a part of Office 365 package which allows people to share information with others and have remote access to server)

- As an employee of FFAV the position adheres to the FFAV’s Terms of Employment, Code of Conduct, and all relevant government laws and regulations of Vietnam.
- The position has to behave according to NFF and FFAV’s values, principles, rights-based and participatory approach and gender sensitivity.
- Central documents for the work in Vietnam are FFAV’s Project Document, time plan, approved project proposals, work plans and budgets, partners and donors agreements.


- Website management includes:
- Publishing and editing website information: Information on page view, website visitors.
- Designing, resizing, and cropping the pictures to make sure that they match with the content and format of the article.
- Restructuring the website if necessary.
- Uploading documents, pictures onto the website
- Make sure all social media tools work properly. This includes updating Facebook, Twitter YouTube, Tumblr, Flickr and sending newsletters to all stakeholders.
- Synthesize, analyze and evaluate the figures from FFAV’s website and social media platform to develop suitable strategy to promote these channels.
- Support designing the newsletter and following up with the list of Newsletter receivers.
- Supporting marketing team in preparing documents, brochures, handouts, and presentations for marketing purpose.
- Support the Communication Department and Marketing Department on the implementation of MIS solutions as required


Technical IT Support
1.  Support setting up equipment such as laptops, data projectors, interactive whiteboards, sound systems and other specialist ICT equipment, ensuring that systems are ready for use and operating correctly.
2. Administrate NAS and Shared Point, including maintains electronic mail accounts and implement where appropriate
3. Perform basic diagnostic routines.
4.  Develop a maintenance schedule, safety-check for all computer hardware, software and networks, and ensure that it is followed
5.  Back up NAS and Shared point periodically

Administration & Supervision
1. Maintain an up?to?date inventory of ICT software and licenses in FFAV.
2. Verify and check all ICT purchase request including quantity, quality and IT product to secure best value of goods and services.
3. Support the full range of financial planning for ICT, including purchase of larger items and help to estimate future budget requirements.
4. Provide advice, guidance, training and assistance to staff on developing their use of ICT.

- Carry out any tasks as assigned regardless of position
- Working language in the office is English. Vietnamese and Norwegian are only to be used when absolutely needed
- FFAV’s policy is to involve as many staff as possible, to be transparent, open and honest. The FFAV established routines regarding the information flow must be observed and followed.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of IT / ICT degree
- 2 years’ experience on ICT work, preferably on public relations, marketing and fundraising area. 
- English fluently both spoken and written
