HTC Senior/Technical Officers
FHI 360 is an international, non-governmental organization that works with the Vietnam Ministry of Health, provincial health services, and local non-government organizations to promote the health and well-being of the Vietnamese people, particularly vulnerable and marginalized populations. In Vietnam, FHI 360 is currently building the capacity of local organizations in HIV prevention, care & treatment, drug treatment policy, and drug treatment practice.
We are currently seeking 02 highly motivated candidates for the positions of HTC Senior/Technical Officers to work in our HIV Counseling and Testing Team (under TAC&HSS Unit).
Main duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as focal point or actively involving in some HTC (HIV Counseling and Testing) technical areas, especially with focus on partners interventions and “HTC Smart TA Monitoring” implementation.
- Support with a number of HTC initiatives, including web-based application for referral support and TA for government health system.
- Provide and/or oversee training and facilitation on HTC and oversee the development/adaptation of curricula and training/education support materials and tools.
- Ensure high quality technical assistance and oversight is provided in FHI 360-supported sites (Monitor and provide technical assistance to Smart TA HTC sites in at least 2 provinces).
- Identify gaps in technical assistance and identifies, recruits and manages consultants.
- Provide technical inputs/comments for technical documents or initiatives and relevant inputs for technical and program reports to donors and partners.
- Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the organization and identify changes required to ensure high quality programming.
- Establish and ensure good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, donors, governments, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in public health or social sciences or equivalent years of experience working in public health area.
- Five-year experience with coordinating resources for large-scale international health programs.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in HIV programs in Vietnam.
- Excellent written and oral communication in both Vietnamese and English.
- Computer literate with strong skills in use of MS office package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint...) and statistic applications.
