Economic and Trade Policy Officer - DFAT

The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Economic and Trade Policy Officer (LE5).

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Economic and Trade Policy Officer works closely with and under general direction from the First Secretary (Economic & Development) to perform a wide range of research, analysis and reporting related to Australia’s regional and bilateral trade and economic interests in Vietnam.

Applicants should have strong experience in research, analysis, and preparing high- quality written reports on economic and trade issues.

The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period, and the Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 40,324,775 to VND 46,871,633, depending on skills and experience.
