Vacancies at Hue City Water Environment Improvement Project (Hue EIP)

Hue City Water Environment Improvement Project (Hue-EIP) is an ODA-funded project by the Government of Japan and is being implemented to renovate and improve the drainage systems and provide wastewater treatment for the City of Hue.

As part of the implementation of the Hue City Water Environment Improvement Project (Hue EIP), Black & Veatch International, are seeking to recruit two (02) Document Controllers/Translators for our work on this important Project.

Specifically the Translator/Document Controller will be responsible for providing the following:

• Translation between English Language and Vietnamese Language of official letters and minutes of meetings.
• Provide interpretation services, to assist their site based Deputy Project Manager in communicating and liaising with Vietnamese counterparts/contractors and the other relevant parties on the construction sites;
• To manage and ensure the project document control system is maintained in fully upto date condition and organize project correspondence systematically in the project filing system.

Qualifications and Experience:

• University Degree in English

Key Experience

• Must possess excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese skills
• At least three years of professional experiences in translation/interpretation
• Must be able to efficiently manage the project filing system

Expected Start Date of Assignment: 1-15 October 2015

Work location: On Construction Sites in Hue City

Duration:  12 months with possibility of extension.
