Vacancy: Data Collecting Team

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the positions of 01 Data Collecting Team Leader and 06 Data Collecting Team Members to work for our project “Improving the nutrition status of children 0-24 months in Thuong Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province”.

Main Responsibilities:

Team leader:

  • Attending on training for data collector
  • Leading team members to conduct interview and data collection for around 350 mothers at 3 communes in Thuong Xuan, Thanh Hoa
  • Conducting collecting data along with team members
  • Supervising team members at the field to ensure the quality of data
  • Conducting data entry after field work

Team members:

  • Attending on training for data collector
  • Conduct interview all mothers having children under 2 at 3 communes in Thuong Xuan District, Thanh Hoa province (around 350)
  • Conduct anthropometric measurement for all children under 2 in all 3 communes
  • Data cleaning and data input in SPSS or Stata following requirement
  • Submit all samples and data files to Save the Children

Key Competencies:

Team leader

  • Having Degrees Training on public health
  • Previous experiences on data collection especially in interviewing with mothers in nutrition
  • Having experience in managing and leading a team to collect data at the fields
  • Have skills to use epidata and SPSS or Stata
  • Good command of computer skills
  • Good skills at interpersonal communication

Team members

  • Having Degrees Training on public health
