Consulting group to conduct an evaluation of three child facilities and develop plans for piloting child-friendly social service models

I. PROJECT INFORMATION

Ho Chi Minh City Child Association (HCWA) and Save the Children International in Vietnam (SCI) are implementing the project "Supporting youth and children in response to COVID-19" funded by the European Union (abbreviated: project EU_CYC). The project aims that civil society organizations (CSOs) in Ho Chi Minh City can address the challenges engendered by the COVID-19 pandemic and extend their support to migrant adolescents and children, especially those who are gender-vulnerable (such as girls, non-binary groups) so that they can access social protection services and decent work. The project also focuses on strengthening the capacity of social organizations (SOs) in Ho Chi Minh City to effectively contribute to the COVID-19 response of governments at all levels and support children, adolescent who are the hardest hit.

Within the framework of the project, in order to create a friendly environment for children currently participating in activities at the child facilities of the HCWA, the Project Management Board "Supporting youth and children in response to COVID-19" (The CYC Project Management Board) is recruiting a consulting group to conduct an evaluation of the three child facilities (Green Bamboo Social Protection Center, Cau Han Charity Class and Little Rose Warm Shelter) which are under the HCWA, thereby to make a work implementation plan, conduct training sessions to these child facilities becoming child-friendly social service models (the Model).

II.   RECRUITMENT POSITION

The CYC Project Management Board) is recruiting a consulting group that will implement the specific work contents as follows:

  • Develop the Model related documents and conduct training sessions to the staff members of the three child facilities (Green Bamboo Social Protection Center, Cau Han Charity Class and Little Rose Warm Shelter) which are under the HCWA;
  • Guide these child facilities to review and evaluate their current situation according to Model criteria;
  • Provide guidance on developing plans and procedures for piloting the Model at these child facilities;
  • Supervise and support the pilot process and write result report about the Model.

II. HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATION

  2. resume and work experience of each group member;
  3. technical proposal / work implementation plan;
  4. financial proposal including all costs associated with the consulting group in the course of performing work under the TOR (please find attached the TOR)
