Consultants for SCDM-II Project

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Vietnam is supporting the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) through Disaster Management Center (DMC) of Water Resources Directorate (WRD) with a Project entitled “Strengthening institutional capacity for disaster risk management in Vietnam, including climate change related risks – Phase 2 (SCDM-II)” from 2012 - 2016.

Building on the achievements and strengths of the first phase and aiming to address identified challenges and new emerging issues, the USD4.7 million four-year SCDM-II Project will expect to achieve the main outcome “By 2016, key national and sub-national agencies, in partnership with the private sector and communities, have established and monitored multi-sectoral strategies, mechanisms and resources to support the implementation of relevant multilateral agreements and effectively address climate change adaptation, mitigation and disaster risk management.”

The project needs to requires contractors and recruit consultants in Capacity assessment, DesInventar software, Risk assessement, M&E. The detailed work descriptions are available in the attached tender invitation documents/TORs.
