WWF-Viet Nam and its participating partners are looking for a Consultancy Firm/Institution, or Consultant Group (the Consultant) to develop technical 100% Renewable Energy - RE scenarios for Viet Nam under the MAP project.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

Overall objective: The study aims to develop technical 100% RE scenarios for Vietnam that will highlight relevant transition pathways and showcase that 100% RE is feasible and viable by 2050.

Specific objectives:

  • Collect and consolidate a database on renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy demand, socio-economic status for modelling.

  • Bridge the gap of available power scenarios developed for Viet Nam

  • Develop a technical and economic analysis of long-term energy development plan for Viet Nam through a modelling exercise.

  • Provide scientific evidence to support policymakers to develop robust and science-based RE policies
