Consultancy of CTS Species Conservation and Law Enforcement

WWF Vietnam Country Programme is one country component of the WWF Greater Mekong and is the implementing arm for projects in Vietnam mainly in Central Annamites, Southern Annamites and the Mekong Delta. Our major activities focus on Freshwater, Forestry, Marine and Aquaculture, Agriculture and Agroforestry, Policy and Advocacy.

They are currently seeking for full time consultancy of CTS Species Conservation and Law Enforcement. The position will be based in Hue province, Vienam with frequent travel to project sites when required.

Main responsibilities:
The consultant will provide support to WWF activities in biodiversity conservation, species projects and law enforcemence  in Central Animate. He/she also monitor FPDs in conducting the field surveys of species project activities in Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Tri provinces as well as working with partners in the ground  to make sure the rangers carrying out the right methods.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Either a University degree or higher in conservation, environment, biology, or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English and local language
- At least 5 years experience in a related field
- Familiar with biodiversity conservation works and law enforcemence
- Experience of working in multi-cultural environment is an advantage
