Business Information cum ICT expert

Innovation Partnership Programme (IPP) is an ODA programme between Vietnam and Finland. It aims to strengthen the National Innovation System of Vietnam. The result areas are to support the institutional set-up, to build capacity and capability, to promote innovations in enterprises and to increase partnerships between Vietnam and Finland. The Phase 1 continues until August 2012. IPP works in the context of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Vietnam. IPP operates in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, HCMC, Can Tho, An Giang and Da Lat.
Innovation Partnership Programme (IPP) opens  a vacancy for:  Business Information cum ICT expert

Education:
- MSc. degree in information, communication, journalism or business marketing. Relevant BSc. degree is accepted if the expert has a long experience in information dissemination, web site content development or in journalism;
- Language:  Full fluency in Vietnamese language, professional in both spoken and written English as working language; 
Work Experience:
- MSc: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in tasks of  information dissemination, web site content development, journalism, audiovisual production or in marketing;
- BSc: Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in tasks of information dissemination, web site content development, journalism, audiovisual production or in marketing;

Skills:
- Good ability to write in a reader friendly way;
- Good skills to take quality photos, producing videos and other audiovisual materials;  
- ICT knowledge to produce web materials and to use publishing programs;  
- Well-developed skills in communication and training;
- Good computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, project management);
- Ability to assist IPP staff in IT related issues;

Responsibilities:
- Producing and updating written materials, videos and other audiovisual materials for IPP and OIF web sites;
- Assessing effectiveness and efficiency of the dissemination of IPP information;
- Identifying innovation related contents in the public media;
- Developing visual quality of printed and audiovisual materials of IPP;
- Seeking information for innovation processes and related topics;
- Keeping contact with  relevant sources and distributors of innovation information;
- Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual progress reports;
- Doing other tasks requested by Programme Director and Chief Technical Advisor.

Place and duration of assignment:
Duty station is Hanoi
