02 Individual Consultants to Develop Documents of the Effective Project Intervention Models

“Vietnam HIV/AIDS Prevention Project” funded by the World Bank and DFID (VNHPP) is 6 - year Project in order to support the key objectives of Government of Vietnam’s National HIV/AIDS strategy. Central Project Management Unit - Ministry of Health invites eligible and qualified candidates to express their interest for 02 individual consultants to develop the VNHPP summary and best-practice case studies of both phase 1 and phase 2 of the project. This development of the project summary and best practice case studies will be based on the specified project objectives and is to be undertaken through desk review of the existing research, surveys, reports and documents with additional field visits to collect necessary data and information.

Requirements:
Consultant 1 should:
- Have a relevant university degree in journalism or social sciences, with priority to those with a relevant post-graduate degree:
- Have good capacity to write the text of the project summary report and  best-practice case studies,
- Have at least 5 years experience in professional writing. 

Consultant 2 should:
- Have a university degree in epidemiology or public health, with priority to those with a relevant post-graduate university degree and experience in HIV/AIDS prevention:
- Have good capacity to identify and document case studies, to illustrate lesson-learned and good intervention models on all project areas, especially on harm reduction, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, IEC/BCC and special events on HIV/AIDS prevention,
- Have at least 5 years experience in HIV/AIDS prevention or relevant public health.

Consultants 1&2 should also have:
- good English language skills;
- good computer and document design skills;
- Considered an advantage to have working experience with MoH, international agencies or donors, UN agencies, WB or DFID.
