In 2019, Viet Nam adopted the revised Labour Code 2019, which has brought its legal framework closer in line with ILO’s fundamental principles and rights at work. Now it is the time to bring these revisions into reality. To do this, the New Industrial Relations Framework project (NIRF/USDOL) supports partners including the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) in developing various awareness raising materials on the key changes of the 2019 Labour Code. In that context, the ILO supports MoLISA to develop a web-based portal on the 2019 Labour Code to serve as a one-stop-shop for information seekers.
Hagar is a specialist trauma-informed care agency that works primarily with women and children who are suffering from trauma as a result of human trafficking, slavery and abuse in Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Vietnam.
