The main responsibility of this position will be to support and strengthen our current disability inclusion projects in the Mekong delta provinces. Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is an Oslo-based Humanitarian organization working in the fields of Mine Action. We are seeking for qualified, enthusiastic, experienced Vietnamese national applicants for the position of 03 Medics. The post holder will be working in NPA-RENEW project based in Dong Ha city, QUANG TRI province.
General responsibilities: Medic is to provide first aid and trauma based medical treatment to team members in the event of an accident and manages medical equipment and aid tools used for first aid and health care of team members in accordance with SOP of NPA Vietnam and other project regulations.
Title: (i) Review of current mapping methodologies and tools and assessment of their suitability for ward and city Disaster Preparedness and Response (DPR) practitioners, (ii) Development of a user-friendly methodology for GIS DPR mapping in urban and peri-urban contexts, (iii) Training of national and international Red Cross staff and local authorities to develop and update GIS DPR maps with the new methodology, (iv) Finalization the newly developed GIS DPR mapping methodology based on field tests and lessons learned.
