The Lowering Emissions in Asia’s Forests (LEAF) program is a five-year program of the USAID implemented by Winrock International, SNV, Climate Focus, and RECOFTC. The purpose of the program is to strengthen the capacity of countries, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Southeast Asia in the forestry land uses sector, and support countries to benefit from the framework of the emerging international REDD + program. Development of Provincial REDD+ Action Plan (PRAP) is one of the top priorities mandated by the NRAP in the period of 2011-2020. Lam Dong PPC has approved the Provincial REDD+ Action Framework document in Decision No. 67/QD-UBND dated on January 13, 2014, stating needs to complete the PRAP in 2014.
